It has been an intense year for RAF, marked by one success after another: following the Due la Nostra Storia Tour with his longtime friend Umberto Tozzi and his return to radio rotation this summer with the hit Cherie - which topped the charts, bringing a wave of lighthearted disco-funky rhythm during the hottest season ever - he performed with Guè on the recently released track Ti pretendo XXX, produced by North Of Loreto, a revival of one of the great classics of the late '80s. This tribute was born from Davide Bassi's idea to revisit Raf's hit.
This much-anticipated return to the stage is presented by Raf with these words:
"Is everyone at home okay? It's a very common and often merely formal question that highlights how crucial the well-being and harmony of our domestic space and the people and animals we share it with are to our own well-being. Imagining extending the concept of home to the entire planet Earth, the equation remains the same. It's an illusion to think we can be well if we only care about ourselves, with what little or much we possess, while showing little empathy for millions of people constantly suffering, no interest in greater sustainability, and no concrete effort to try to combat the ongoing climate change. We are well only if everything is fine at home. My home, our home is the universe we live in. Musically speaking, in 2023 the theaters will return to being 'My home.' I will welcome you with new sounds, new songs. Music and words with the energy and emotions as always."
A career full of satisfactions, music, and recognitions, with deep respect and affection from fans, who in 2023 will once again listen live to one of the most beautiful voices and signatures of Italian discography, who remains so contemporary and vivid even in the new current music scene. Thus, the hype grows for a rich season of concerts throughout Italy, with the anticipation of new surprises.
